Brigantine Beach Begins Voluntary Evacuations

Mandatory evacuation begins Sunday morning.

 

The Brigantine Office of Emergency Management has issued voluntary evacuation orders for Brigantine Beach effective immediately, the Brigantine Police Department announced Friday afternoon, Oct. 26.

Mandatory evacuations become effective Sunday morning, Oct. 28 at 8 a.m., according to the Brigantine Police Department.

No shelter has been set up at this time, so residents are asked to make arrangements to stay with family and friends, Brigantine Police said.
