Councilwoman Whitney Ullman to Appear on Wendy Williams Show Thursday Morning
She'll model work wear as part of In Style magazine's new fall trends fashion show.
Ullman will appear as part of In Style magazine’s new fall trends fashion show Thursday morning, Sept. 27, 10 a.m. on Fox 29 Philadelphia. She will model work wear clothes, although she can’t say at this time what she will be modeling.
“It’s going to be very brief,” Ullman said. “She’s going to welcome me to the show and talk about my outfit. I’m going to model it and walk off the stage.”
She will be one of a number of models on the show. All the models will make a brief appearance and return at the end of the show.
“It shows that when you put yourself out there, things will happen,” Ullman said. “But no one’s going to come knocking on your door. You have to submit things yourself.”
Ullman will be going up to New York Wednesday and staying overnight. She’ll appear on the show, which is broadcast live, before heading home.
Ullman auditioned for the show in August after seeing on Facebook that the show was looking for models. She sent in an application, followed by additional photos before being asked to audition for the show. She was originally scheduled to appear on the show Sept. 13, but her appearance was postponed until this week.
Ullman also runs WIN Promotions & Consulting, which, according to her website, "helps clients form proven networking strategies in order to increase their contact databases."
Ullman, who missed Monday night’s council meeting, also weighed in on the council’s 4-2 vote to deny Go Green Galloway’s request to make Galloway a Fair Trade Town.
“I would have voted in favor of it,” Ullman said. “It can only be a positive for Galloway. I thought it would be great, and would attract different people to Galloway.”
