CVS in Smithville Site of Second Armed Robbery Over the Last Month
Galloway Police suspect the same female from the first incident in the incident on Tuesday night.
For the second time over the course of a month, the CVS in Smithville was the site of an armed robbery on Tuesday night, Jan. 8, and Galloway Township Police suspect the same female involved in the first robbery was involved in the most recent incident.
On Tuesday night at 8:45, a female approximately 30-40 years in age approached the counter with a plastic bag in the air, holding what appeared to be a gun, police said. She demanded prescription drugs from the pharmacist, and escaped with 300 oxycodone pills, police said. She headed toward Historic Smithville, and no injuries were reported in the incident, police said.
The suspect was described as a thin, white female with a tan stocking covering her face. The eyeholes were cut out. She wore black jeans, a black hoodie and white sneakers, police said.
The first incident took place on Dec. 29 when a female that police suspect to be the same person stole 300 percocepts.
