Michael D. Griffin, 23, of Galloway Township, was among nine graduates from the Atlantic County Police Academy on Friday, Feb. 15, at the Atlantic County Insitute of Technology (ACIT).

The nine graduates are the newest Atlantic County Sheriff's Officers. They completed the Basic Course for Police Officers.

The other eight graduates included:

• John A. Amendolia, 24, of Hammonton.
• Bryan M. Bene, 24, of Hammonton.
• Alan T. Chambliss, 33, of Egg Harbor Township.
• Thomas James Denton, 36, of Egg Harbor Township.
• Victor D. Gano, 42, of Linwood.
• Jacquiline E. Guischard, 27, of Somers Point.
• Katherine N. Naveja, 24, of Egg Harbor City.
• Paulo L. Pereira, 38, of Hamilton Township.
