Galloway Man Sought in Connection With Absecon Burglaries

Derreck M. Robinson, 20, of Galloway, is wanted for a pair of burglaries on New York Avenue.

A Galloway Township man is wanted in connection with a pair of burglaries in Absecon, Absecon Police announced on Thursday, March 28.

Derreck M. Robinson, 20, and Zavier S. Clark, 19, of Egg Harbor Township, have been charged in connection with two burglaries, on the 600 and 800 blocks of New York Avenue, police said. The burglaries took place on March 17 and 18.

Clark has been arrested, police said Thursday night. Robinson remains at large.

Some of the stolen property has already been recovered, and Absecon Detectives will continue to search for the remaining missing property, police said.

Stolen property from other municipalities has also been recovered, and Absecon is working with those police departments on other burglary cases, police said.No specific towns and police departments were named.
