Information for the Galloway Township Police Blotter for the dates Jan. 1-6, 2013 has been supplied by local law enforcement agencies. All persons named are presumed innocent unless proven guilty.

The Galloway Township Police Department responded to 860 calls for service. Of these, 34 were emergency medical calls, eight were fire calls, six were domestic violence calls and 15 were motor vehicle accidents. Officers made 29 arrests and issued 41 tickets, including two DWI.

* A building on Mattix Run was burglarized on Jan. 1.

* On Jan. 3, William Ireland, 45, of Galloway, was arrested by Officer William Kline for Eluding, Resisting Arrest and Receiving Stolen Property.  Bail was set at $100,000 full.

* On Jan. 3, Edwin J. Marrero Jr., 28, of Hammonton, was arrested by Officer Christian Magazzu for Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of a Hypodermic Needle following a motor vehicle stop. He was released on a summons. 

* On Jan. 3, Richard Otero, 22, of Galloway, was arrested by Officer Kerry Baerman for Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance (marijuana under 50g) following a motor vehicle stop. He was released on a summons. 

* On Jan. 5, Samantha Gage, 20, of New York, was arrested by K-9 Officer Mark D’Esposito for Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance (marijuana under 50g) following a motor vehicle stop.  She was released on a summons. 

* On Jan. 5, Natasha Golomb, 21, of Pennsylvania, was arrested by K-9 Officer Mark D’Esposito for Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance following a motor vehicle stop.  She was released on a summons. 

* On Jan. 5, Deanna Odom, 18, of Egg Harbor Township, was arrested by Officer John Mooney for two counts of Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance and DWI.  She was released on a summons.

* On Jan. 6, Jason Nomof, 19, of Galloway, was arrested by Officer Vincent Ceci for Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance (marijuana under 50g) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia following a motor vehicle stop.  He was released on a summons.

* On Jan. 6, Michael Morris, 22, of Hammonton was arrested by Ofc. Vincent Ceci for Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance (marijuana under 50g) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia following a motor vehicle stop. He was released on a summons.

* On Jan. 6, Clifford Lepage, 68, of Pennsylvania, was arrested by Officer Vincent Ceci for DWI following a motor vehicle stop.  He was released on a summons.

* On Jan. 6,  Charlee Thomas, 32, of Bridgeton, was arrested by Officer John Mooney for Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance (marijuana under 50g) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia following a motor vehicle stop. She was released on a summons.
