Galloway Police Blotter: Sept. 3-9, 2012

Galloway Police report two incidents during this period.

 

Information for the Galloway Township Police Blotter for the dates Sept. 3-9, 2012 has been supplied by local law enforcement agencies. All persons named are presumed innocent unless proven guilty.

The Galloway Township Police Department responded to 823 calls for service. Of those calls, 84 were Emergency Medical Calls, 13 were Fire Calls, 14 were Domestic Violence Calls, and 15 were Motor Vehicle Accidents. There were 15 total arrests made, including two DWI and 51 tickets were issued.

* A building burglary was reported on Sept. 4 on South Xanthus Avenue and on East White Horse Pike on Sept. 7.

* John Manwaring, 50, of Galloway, was arrested by Ptl. Ronald Gorneau on Sept. 4 for criminal mischief. He was released on a summons.

* Anthony Pickard, 21, of Blenheim, and Austin Albanese , 19, of Washington, NJ were arrested by Ptl. Ronald Gorneau on Sept. 4 for DWI.  They were released on summonses.

I never thought about it before, but yes, this is true. I would like to know what burglaries, robberies, or other incidents happened in my neighborhood, but printing names of people charged in DUI or "released on a summons" could be TMI.
