Information for the Galloway Township Police Blotter for the dates Feb. 24-March 2, 2013 has been supplied by local law enforcement agencies. All persons named are presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
The Galloway Township Police Department responded to 737 calls for service. Of these, 26 were emergency medical calls, four were fire calls, 13 were domestic violence calls and 21 were motor vehicle accidents. Officers made 29 arrests and issued 61 tickets, including three DWI.
* Residential burglaries were reported on Feb. 26 and 27 on Damson Avenue; March 1 on Nectar Avenue; and March 1 on Southmoor Drive. A vehicle burglary was reported on March 1 on Edwards Avenue.
* On Feb. 24, Donna Landing, 46, of Galloway, was arrested by Ofc. Kerry Baerman for Driving While Intoxicated.
* On Feb. 24, Robert Whedbee, 48, of Estell Manor, was arrested by Ofc. Justin Butler for Aggravated Assault.
* On Feb. 28, Bryan Sullivan, 20, of Brick Township, was arrested by Ofc. Ron Gorneau for Driving While Intoxicated and Underage Consumption of Alcohol. Harmon Smith IV, 20, and Kyle Polgar, 20, of Brick Township were arrested in the same incident for Underage Consumption of Alcohol.
* On March 1, Ethan McCracken, 22, of Galloway, was arrested by K-9 Ofc. Kevin Welsh for Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance and Possession of a Hypodermic Needle.
* On March 2, Brian Allen, 23, of Galloway, was arrested by Ofc. Gary Brenner for Driving While Intoxicated.
* On March 2, Vimal Patel, 18, of Galloway, was arrested by Ofc. Steve Garrison for Possession of Marijuana under 50 grams and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
* On Feb. 28, a 17-year-old male of Galloway was arrested by Ofc. Chris Magazzu for Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, Distribution of a Controlled Dangerous Substance and Distribution within a school zone.
* On March 2, a 17-year-old male of Galloway was arrested by Ofc. Steve Garrison for Possession of Marijuana Under 50 Grams.
