Master Plan Meeting to Discuss Blue Heron Pines Project Scheduled for Thursday Night
It replaces the regularly scheduled Planning Board meeting.
The Galloway Township Master Plan Committee will hold a meeting to discuss Ole Hansen and Sons' proposed Blue Heron Pines project Thursday night, Feb. 7 according to the township's website.
The meeting commences at 7 p.m. at the municipal complex. It will replace the regularly scheduled Planning Board meeting, which has been canceled.
According to the post of the township website, the Master Plan Committee will hold discuss "Ole Hansen and rezoning."
Ole Hansen recently began publicly speaking about plans to build 944 homes by Blue Heron Pines golf course. The project previously called for age-restricted housing, but Ole Hansen is proposing constructing homes without age restriction. This means 20 percent of the project would have to include affordable housing.
The Planning Board voted to send the proposal to the Master Plan Committee at its last meeting.

I can hear gunfire already as drug dealers move in. Who does this benefit?....Ole Hansen?....2000 new school kids in the schools. There are a zillion sheriff sales in Atlantic County right now. Makes absolutely no sense to build this project. But Galloway likes projects that make no sense.
