POLL: Will You Go See Gov. Christie This Wednesday? Why?
Chris Christie will hold a town hall at Galloway Township Middle School this Wednesday afternoon.
Gov. Chris Christie is coming to Galloway Township next Wednesday, June 13, and as Galloway council members stated last week, this is an opportunity for township residents to have the governor hear their voice.
Christie will hold a town hall meeting at the Galloway Township Middle School gymnasium. Doors for the meeting will open at 1:45 p.m., and seating is on a first come, first serve basis.
There is a large Republican base in Atlantic County, and in Galloway in particular, where six of the seven council members are Republicans.
Even Democrat Jim Gorman is excited to see Gov. Christie come to Galloway, and would like to see residents ask the governor questions about local issues.
What do you think? Will you go? What will you have to say to Gov. Christie?
Let us know by participating in the polls below and further explaining yourself in the comments section.

I don't plan to go because I can't stomach seeing the local RINO township council clowns kissing up to the Governor. I would hope the good Governor will distance himself from these charlatans.

No, I don't plan to go. This is psych 101. The government lets you air your grievance directly to the governor, making you think your voice is being heard. The reality is that your concerns are just that, "your" concerns. The governor has his own adjenda, which normally doesn't coincide with the general population. He has proven on more than one occassion that the only opinion that matters is his. I'm not saying that he hasn't made some good decisions, but on those subjects that you may disagree, your opinion doesn't make a difference.

He could care less about South Jersey. He is nasty, combative and should stay away from us. Go back to north jersey and stay there. He is out of touch with the majority of us in the southern part of the state. Just look at the decisions, money wasted and now the ridiculous decision to close off the parkway ramp for the state police building project. Take the homeland security money from the fence fiasco near Cape May County. Politicans are a waste of our time and money. Go away!

The governor has demonstrated time and time again that he genuiney cares about South Jersey and AC. He understands that a healthy AC drives the regional economy, and has done far more than his predecessors toward revitalizing AC. As Atlantic County residents, we should be grateful. Finally, we have a politician more concerned about doing what's right than about doing what's popular.

I applaud Christie for the all that he has done for our great state. If we only had more politicians like him in Washington, the country would be well on its way to the glorious nation it once was.
