Readers' Choice Winner: The Smithville Inn

Galloway Patch readers prefer to take their mothers here for Mother's Day Brunch.

Although there were a few readers who voiced their preference to stay home and have the family cook for mom, there were 44 total votes in this week’s Readers’ Choice Poll: Where are you going for Mother’s Day Brunch?

The Smithville Inn was the overwhelming favorite among Galloway Patch readers, garnering 52 percent of the vote (23 percent.)

Mario’s Uptown Grill in Egg Harbor City brought in five votes, as did the “other” option, which we’re guessing was a mix of those who made their own suggestions in the comments section, and those who would rather enjoy Mother’s Day Brunch in the privacy of their own homes.

When business ratings are factored in, the Smithville Inn earned a total of 18 points, followed by Mario’s Uptown Grill with 16, and Celina's and the Seaview, each with 14.

Gourmet Italian Cuisine and Romanelli’s Garden Café each earned 10 points by having five star ratings.

Check out the poll below for complete voting results, and enjoy Mother's Day, wherever you decide to go.

Even if you just stay home.
