Jersey City Man Suffers Minor Injuries in Garden State Parkway Accident in Port Republic
A white Ford delivery truck went off the road and hit some trees off the Parkway Friday afternoon.
A Jersey City man suffered minor injuries after his white Ford delivery truck exited the Garden State Parkway in Port Republic and hit some trees, State Police said Friday afternoon, Jan. 25.
Mustapha Tazi, 32, was transported to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center Mainland Campus with minor head and hand injuries, police said. He was to be treated and released.
The accident occurred at 2:06 p.m., and the truck was said to be swerving prior to the accident, according to police. The truck exited the Parkway and hit trees "a good distance from the road," according to police.
Police extricated Tazi around 2:25 p.m., police said. He was issued a ticket for careless driving.
