State Police Rescue Four People Trapped in a Car on White Horse Pike in Absecon

State troopers were en route to a water rescue in West Atlantic City at the time.

 

State Police rescued four people trapped in a car on the White Horse Pike in Absecon Monday afternoon, police said Monday night, Oct. 29.

The rescue took place at 2 p.m. Monday afternoon. Members of the state police SWAT and marine units were en route to a water rescue in the West Atlantic City section of Egg Harbor Township when they were called to the scene of a car that veered off the road going westbound on Route 30 in Absecon, police said.

The officers rescued three men and a woman from the vehicle, and transported them to a residence in Pleasantville, police said.

No injuries were reported.
