Taste of Galloway Coming This Summer

The inaugural event will be held June 28 in Smithville.

The Galloway Township Business Association is offering up food, entertainment and exhibitions in Historic Smithville and the Village Greene this summer.

On June 28, the GTBA presents the inaugural “Taste of Galloway,” from 5-8 p.m., the organization announced over the weekend.

Galloway residents not only have a chance to sample the best restaurants, caterers, bakeries, and wineries Galloway has to offer, there will also be a Galloway Farmer’s Market, and a “Get Involved Galloway” area for local non-profits, clubs, and churches to exhibit, the GTBA said.

Absegami High School students and alumnus will have the chance to showcase their talents in a “Gami Got Talent” cabaret, the GTBA said.

Any Galloway business or community organization that wishes to participate in the event is invited to visit the GTBA’s website at http://www.gallowaybusiness.com/taste-of-galloway for more information and a registration form, or send an email to tog@GallowayBusiness.com.

Any Absegami student or alum who wishes to participate in the township is asked to send an email that includes their name, phone number and act to talent@gallowaybusiness.com
