Three Local Restaurants Among 50 to be Showcased at Atlantic Cape Gala
Rams Head Inn, Renault Winery and Smithville Inn will be a part of the 30th anniversary restaurant gala March 14 at Bally's.
Three local restaurants will be among 50 area restaurants showcased at Atlantic Cape Community College's 30th anniversary restaurant gala on March 14 at Bally's Atlantic City Hotel and Casino, Atlantic Cape announced Thursday afternoon, Feb. 7.
Renault Winery, from Egg Harbor City, and the Ram's Head Inn and the Smithville Inn, in Galloway, will be part of the Camelot-inspired gala dubbed, "Celebrate the 30 kNights."
Students from the college's Academy of Culinary Arts will prepare the hors d'oeuvres, and each restaurant will select a house specialty to be served.
Master Pastry Chef Eugen Ess of Trump Taj Mahal, and Executive Pastry Chef Deb Pellegrino of Caesars Entertainment, will co-host what the college describes as an "elegant dessert reception."

The gala raises money for scholarships at the Academy of Culinary Arts and Atlantic Cape Foundation operations. Since 1984, the gala has raised over $3 million, according to Atlantic Cape.
Tickets to this year's gala are $225 per person.
