Three-Way Tie For Galloway Township Person of the Year Honors

A soldier, a teacher and a former blogger tied for first place in Galloway Township Person of the Year voting among Patch readers.
Joe Mille, David Evans and Harry Scheeler each received three votes in voting conducted last week. Former clerk Lisa Tilton and members of the Galloway Township Police Department each received two votes, and Dave Jones received one.
Mille was a soldier in Afghanistan who lost part of his leg last January while attempting to help one of his fellow soldiers. He set off an IED, and returned home to receive treatment. He now has a prosthetic leg.
Evans is a Galloway Township teacher who was named Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Atlantic Cape Community College in November.
In his teaching career, Evans has been named New Jersey Middle School Social Studies Teacher of the Year, Galloway Township Teacher of the Year and Galloway Township Government Advocate for Education, according to Atlantic Cape.
Scheeler is the former publisher of Galloway Township News who uncovered unethical conduct among township officials, mainly through Open Public Records Act (OPRA) requests, beginning in late 2011. According to a recent post on his site, he sold his website, and the identity of the new owner has not yet been disclosed publicly.
Voting was conducted in the comments section of the Person of the Year story publishded on Dec. 26, 2012.

Hey Harry....Who did you sell your website to?....Somebody that's gonna dig into all of Galloway's corrupt dealings or was it someone who paid you to go away?...I note that you started your website when the Tilton matter became more of a news item. Then you sold your website around the time a settlement had been reached in the Tilton matter. I've always wondered who was paying to do all that investigating?....Don't tell everyone in Galloway you did it out of the kindness of your heart. So who funded your whole operation?...My guess...someone connected to Tilton....maybe Hartman?

Mr. Green there is no conspiracy. I was not paid off and the new publisher and staff will continue the site much like I did. I walked away for several reasons but in all honesty I have uncovered just about everything that there was to uncover.

Harry...That was good non answer. Digging up corruption in Galloway is an ongoing situation. Your starting to sound like Galloway....You don't want to tell your readers who bought your site? You wanted everyone to go there & give you tips. Doesn't seem genuine to me. Suddenly all this secrecy. Who paid you to do that blog?....Hartman?....As I said ...you started when the Tilton matter became public...you ended when the Tilton matter was supposedly settled. I guess you mean your done digging up stuff for Tilton. Did the Tilton settlement include you not digging up any more on Galloway?....I'm holding my breath!

Be advised, your comments of "who paid you to go away", could be considered slanderous as to the integrity of the Mr. Scheeler's and now my website.
Websites are built, operated and sold everyday. The website is still operational. If you feel it hasn't peeked to your satisfaction, than I apologize that you are disappointed. But by reading your previous comments, you actually thanked Mr. Scheeler for a great job he did. So your skepticism at this point, is moot at best.

Green gallowaytwpnews.com cost me $10 to create. No one was funding me and the website was not for Tilton. If you read the content of the website I posted her disaplinary records which she threatened to sue me over and then I critizied her actions while on the planing board.
