Township Clerk Kimberley Hodsdon to Remain in Her Position Through Next Wednesday; Galloway, Absecon to Share Services
Hodsdon's resignation was to have taken effect Feb. 10.
Galloway Township Clerk Kimberley Hodsdon will remain in her position through the next council meeting, and the township will look at a shared services agreement with Absecon for about 30 days, Mayor Don Purdy confirmed via text message early Wednesday night, Feb. 8.
Purdy said Galloway will also have an acting clerk during this period.
The decision was made during a Budget Committee meeting Wednesday afternoon, involving Purdy Deputy Mayor Tony Coppola, Councilman Dennis Kleiner and Interim Acting Township Mayor Arch Liston.
Hodsdon’s last scheduled day in the township is Friday, Feb. 10, but she will remain in that position until next Wednesday, meaning she will be available for the next council meeting. After that, she will be returning to her previous job as Human Resources Director in Wildwood, a position that has remained vacant since she left to take the Township Clerk position in Galloway.
She assumed that role on Oct. 4, taking over for former clerk Lisa Tilton, who reached an agreement with the township to resign from that position in July. Tilton has since filed two separate $3 million tort claim notices against the township.
Hodsdon resigned from her position on Jan. 30.
Township Manager Steve Bonanni’s retirement became effective the following day. Liston is serving as Interim Acting Manager until a new township manager is hired.

Assuming an end has officially been put to the inane and frivolous lawsuits that Lisa Tilton has filed against......well seemingly everyone but her boyfriend. I can understand that it must be difficult to be publicly called out on not doing your job appropriately or well, but the solution isn't to file suits against everyone to make others hurt as she herself was. She was hurt because of her own actions, behaviors and poor decisions. Those she was trying to hurt were simply trying to do their best to get the town run in some grown up and responsible manner. It's such a sad story all around, but enough is enough. Her strip mall lawyer seems to have gone silent so I'm guessing sanity has come to bear in terms of the impossibility that any go away quiet money was going to be paid... My guess they we're looking for $10k-$20k or something like that. For a lawyer with few to no clients I guess $5k could make a difference in paying the rent and bringing some groceries home. But still.... you have to be more professional if you want others to think of you as a professional.

ccj, you seem to have an obsession with Lisa Tilton. Do you cruise around the internet looking for a story that has to do with Ms. Tilton and comment on it? Come clean and say what your real obsession and intentions are? Are you a jealous Ex or someone that may have to pay money to Ms. Tilton? Why the bitterness? You keep saying you want her to "go away quietly". Words like that appear to be a threat. Care to explain?

That certainly explains it. Shame ccj, you never should post anywhere is you are names in a high profile lawsuit. I believe I told Terry Lucarelli the same and she listened. Maybe you will heed to the advice as well.

ccj, at least you haven't denied that your actually Mr. Bonanni. I am certainly not Mr. Scheeler, although I applaud his efforts. With that being said, you obviously do not read well nor like to answer any questions. So continue to post all you want about what you feel Ms. Tilton's case is worth. It just shows your natural inability to succeed in this world since you can not follow the simplest of directions.

Such sour grapes CCJ! Honestly you only have yourself to blame. When you begin a journey of revenge, start by digging two graves: one for your enemy, and one for yourself. Lisa is not trying to hurt anyone she is just patient. You thought you had her when she resigned, you thought it was so sweet. All she had to do is wait and before she knew it you violated her separation agreement. You know the Japanese have a saying. If you sit by the river long enough, you will see the body of your enemy float by. It didn't take long to see you floating south. You must have left in such a hurry you didn't take note that her attorney handling the lawsuit is one of the most powerful attorney's in the state. http://www.fpsflawfirm.com If your ready to have the last word come see me.
