UPDATED: Thirteen Area Students Named to Dean's List at TCNJ

Thirteen students from the area were named to the Dean's List at The College of New Jersey (TCNJ), three more made the list at the University of Delaware and one was named to the President's List at Clemson University, while Galloway residents also made the Dean's List at The Citadel and McDaniel College according to Read Media reports published this week.

The TCNJ list includes eight students from Galloway.Briana Saddler, Erica Keenan, Elizabeth Wimberg, Saagar Trivedi, Micah Akerlind,  Cortney Ziegler, Diane Iannacone, andErica Mendillo, all residents of Galloway were named to the Dean's List, meaning they each held a 3.5 grade point average (GPA) and carried 12 or more credits for the semester. Absecon residents Sandra Thompson, Anthony Cocuzza, Johnathan Eldis, and Chelsey Combs were also named to the list.

The University of Delaware requires a student to be enrolled full-time and to earn a GPA of 3.33 or higher for the semester. Three students from Galloway achieved that this semester, including Jillian Farquharson, a Junior Arts and Sciences major; Daniel Goldfarb, a Freshman Arts and Sciences major; and Mark Schenauer, a Senior Business and Economics major.

Allie Rose Dowe earned straight A's at Clemson University, landing her on the school's President's List. Students must maintain a 4.0 GPA to be named to the President's List. Dowe is majoring in English (Writing and Publication Studies), according the Read Media report.

Cadet Alexander Richard Piratzky was recognized by The Citadel at the militart school's Military Dress Parade on Friday, Jan. 27. Piratzky was named to the school's Dean's List, which recognizes cadets and active duty military students who achieve a 3.2 GPA, with no grade lower than a C for the previous semester.

Kelly E. Crawford was named to the Dean's List With Honors at McDaniel College in Westminster Maryland. Crawford earned the honor by achieving a GPA between 3.50 and 3.69 for the semester.
