Two people were injured in a 10:06 a.m. two-car accident near the intersection of South Pitney Road and East Elm Avenue today, police said.

Harvey Brownstein, 57, Galloway, was heading north on Pitney Road when his 2007 Suzuki collided with a 2000 Honda Odyssey driven by Elianys Walker, 34, Brigantine, according to the police report.

Walker was traveling southbound on Pitney Road at the time of the accident. Brownstein made a U-turn in the roadway and the cars collided, police said.

Brownstein had chest injuries and Walker had a knee injury. Both were taken to the Atlanticare Mainland Division, police said.
