What Did You Think of Mayfest?
More than 100 crafters came from all over for the two-day festival.
This weekend marked the unofficial beginning of Smithville's summer season with the two-day event known as Mayfest. More than 100 crafters exhibited their wares from all over, including Florida and Texas.
This week we asked residents: What did you think of Mayfest?
We'll add a new response to the same question each day this week. Visit tomorrow at the same time to see the new video, and join the conversation. You can see videos from the past days by clicking on the thumbnails above. Log in to post a comment or video answer, or email Anthony.Bellano@patch.com.

Mayfest was a blast! I spent too much money but everything I wanted was so reasonably priced I just bought and bought and bought. My $60 budget went to $100 when I saw this beautiful hand-blown glass vase, wrought iron garden sculpture, an adorable concrete frog that even hubby liked and yummy cookies and breads. Thank goodness Boscov's was having a sale or I would've gone back to Mayfest and spent more!

I loved it!! The weather was perfect and there were tons of gift and food vendors. And as always the business owners were super helpful and nice.

I wish I had time to get my face painted. I did however get way cool balloon animals for everyone working that day!
Time for the Renaissance Faire this Saturday (May 21st) see you there!

Would loved to have gone, but was at the Counties Crew Regatta at Lake Lenape cheering on Absegami High School. Our Girls Team tied for the Championship with Holy Spirit with over all points - the first time in history of this event. Go Gami ...! Go Spirit ...! Good luck Friday and Saturday at Stotesbury and then next weekend at Nationals!!!! Another great year.....
