Wildwood Volunteer Fire Company Hopes to Grow Volunteer Base with Help of Pennsylvania Public Relations Firm

Wildwood, NJ… In the months ahead, Wildwood residents will see a new presence in town, although it’s one that has been there for over 100 years. Wildwood Volunteer Fire Company No. 1 has retained Communication Solutions Group of Jenkintown, Penna. to help in its recruitment of volunteer members.

“We are eager to expand our volunteer firefighter membership pool and sought a comprehensive approach to spread the word,” Fire Company No. 1 President Greg Neill said. “Communication Solutions has a successful track record promoting volunteer fire stations, so choosing this company was very logical.”

The fire company is hoping to recruit new members for both firefighting and non-fire related volunteer opportunities. In addition to the adult volunteer firefighter training, the company also offers a junior firefighter program for 15- and 16-year-olds. All training and supplies are provided for volunteers.

Communication Solutions will help the fire company with its recruitment through a comprehensive marketing plan. First task will be creating a website presence to attract potential volunteers. Through the use of member testimonials, answers to frequent questions, and details on applying, the new website addition will become the one stop any interested candidate needs.

Communication Solutions’ activities will also include brand development, brochure creation, public relations and community outreach.  The group will also translate materials into Spanish to connect all members of the community with the fire company.
