Fishermen on Cape May Boat Snags 378-Pound Swordfish

A Gloucester County man spent seven hours battling the swordfish Friday night into Saturday morning, the Press of Atlantic City reports.

This guy once caught a fish this big.

It happened early Saturday morning and it took seven hours, but Anthony McAlister and the crew of Anger Management, a 42-foot Ocean Yacht out of Cape May, caught a 378-pound swordfish, the Press of Atlantic City reports.

The fish was caught aboard the  in Wilmington Canyon and weighed at Canyon Club Marina in Cape May, according to the report. McAlister is from Gloucester County.

Earlier this month, a group of fishermen captured a 125 pound mako shark in Avalon

He didn't snag it, the fish took the bait with the hook, he hooked it, fought it, killed it, took pictures of it, ate it, and talked about it, but he didn't snag it, he caught it. Like a hole in one, you aim for it, you hit the ball towards it, you didn't bang ii in there, you hit it in the hole.
