Restrictions In Place for Morning Commute

Restrictions are in place on the Atlantic City Expressway, the New Jersey Turnpike and the Garden State Parkway, and salting is taking place on the Atlantic City-Brigantine Connector.

Sunday night's round of snow may have some impact on Monday morning's commute.

As of 4 a.m., road crews were applying salt on the Atlantic City-Brigantine Connector in both directions between the Atlantic City Expressway and Route 30 in Atlantic City, according to 511nj.org. It was being applied intermittently to the road, bridge deck and ramps.

There's also a speed restriction in place on the Atlantic City Expressway. The speed limit is 35 miles an hour in both directions between the Atlantic City Convention Center/Eastern Terminus in Atlantic City to Route 42 in Washington Township.

The speed limit on the Garden State Parkway Monday morning is 45 miles an hour in both directions between Exit 63 in Stafford Township and Exit 90 in Brick, and the speed limit on the New Jersey Turnpike is 45 miles an hour in both directions between the Delaware Memorial Bridge in Pennsville and the George Washington Bridge in Fort Lee.
