Arts & Literature in Healing conference at Stockton

21st Annual Victor A. Bressler Arts and Humanities in Healing Conference
Bringing Caregivers Closer

 

Participants will use the lens of the arts and humanities to discuss death and dying and how to talk about end-of-life issues. Breakout sessions will include reading, discussing and writing poetry and short prose pieces.

Keynote speaker, Patrick L. Clary, MD, author of a book of poems, Dying for Beginners, is a leading physician in end of life care. Breakout leaders include poets & writers, Robbie Clipper, Barbara Daniels, Douglas Goetsch, Luray Gross, Penny Harter, Terese Svoboda & others. Peter E. Murphy will facilitate.

$30 registration fee covers continental breakfast, lunch and materials.
Continuing Ed credits available for Nurses, Social Workers, Licensed Professional Counselors, Marriage Family Therapy, Public Health, EMTs & Paramedics.
