Attention all Singers or Aspiring Singers: Stockton Needs You

Stockton Oratorio Society Looking for Community Members to Perform in Handel’s Messiah in Atlantic City

The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey is seeking singers to participate in the Stockton Oratorio Society and to take part in its presentation of Handel’s Messiah in Atlantic City later this year.  “Experience is not required, just enthusiasm,” said Stockton Professor of Music Dr. Beverly Vaughn, who is directing the event. “The more, the better, we are always looking for a large choral group for this event.”  She said individuals, groups, and community choirs are invited to rehearsals held every Monday, from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. beginning September 26 in the Alton Auditorium (A-Wing) of The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey campus here.  As part of Stockton’s 40th Anniversary of Teaching events, the concert will take place Sunday, December 11, 2011 at historic St. Nicholas of Tolentine Roman Catholic Church of Atlantic City.
