Two Atlantic City Casinos Among 10 Tallest Buildings in the State

The Revel is the second tallest building in the state. Harrah's is No. 6.

Jersey City might be the tallest city in the state, with eight of the 10 tallest buildings in New Jersey. The other two are in Atlantic City, according to a recent report on nj.com.

The Revel is the second tallest building in the state at 710 feet tall, 71 feet shy of the state’s tallest building, according to the report. With 47 stories, it is the second tallest casino in America, according to the report. The Goldman Sachs Tower in Jersey City, at 781 feet tall, is the only structure in the Garden State that can tower over New Jersey’s newest casino, according to the report.

While the newest casino is the second tallest, the first casino built in the marina district is also on the list. Harrah’s Waterfront Tower checked in at No. 6 on the list. The 525-foot, 44 floor casino was built in 1980, but renovations left it as the tallest building in Atlantic City in 2008, until the Revel opened last year.
