Bites Nearby: The Smithville Inn

Located in the heart of Historic Smithville, the Smithville Inn hosts weddings, banquets and prominent politicians.

You could stand on a corner and look around until a restaurant sign draws you in. But we've got a better idea. Each week, Galloway Patch picks a great restaurant either in town or nearby that is worth checking out. Here's this week's choice:

For 14 years, The Smithville Inn, located at 3 North New York Road in Galloway, has offered up classic dishes in the heart of Historic Smithville. The Inn is a perfect venue for weddings, and has hosted many banquets and fundraisers, including visits from New Jersey’s Lt.Gov. Kim Guadagno.

After a day of exploring the pedestrian town, a dinner reservation at the Inn is an appropriate close. But make sure to make a reservation because they are usually needed.
