“(The LPGA) is big on community support, and they’re going to be around for at least another four years.” Deputy Mayor Don Purdy said. “They’ve agreed to help us on ticket sales.”

Purdy added that he is happy with the renovations the Seaview has made since the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey bought the venue last year. It was shut down over the winter, and reopened in March after massive renovations.

The ShopRite LPGA Classic will host 150 of the top women's professional golfers in the country. The event was held at the Seaview last year, and is scheduled to be held at the Galloway Township golf resort for the next four years.
