Readers' Choice Winner: Pocket Full of Posies

This week’s Readers’ Choice poll was a true reflection of the way Galloway Township feels about its flower shops: there’s no place like

With 72 of the 106 votes cast in this week’s poll, Pocket Full of Posies ran away with 67 percent of the vote. was second with 25 votes for 23 percent.

There were only eight comments, but all of them were solidly in favor of Pocket Full of Posies, even though two of them came from the same person.

“Absolutely by far the best florist and outstanding community involvment from the owners, Bethann and Bryan Perone,” Galloway Patch user June Grentz commented at 3:09 Monday afternoon, the day the poll launched. She came back 10 minutes later and wrote: “Of course I~m referring to Pocket Full of Posies. They are the greatest florist and gift shop!”

“Pocket full of Posies creates masterpieces...beautiful arrangements that will forever be remembered with your special occasion,” Jeanie Hiltner wrote.

Commented James Malick: “Pocket full of posies!! Best in town, run by the best! Thinking of a special occasion, planning a wedding, funeral, anniversary, mothers day , birthday or prom!. You can't go wrong! Hey guys, sleeping on the couch because your in the dog house? Call pocket full of posies for that great flower arrangement and start to make your way back to your bedroom! If your going to vote, vote for a WINNER! When your looking for that arrangement, call pocket full of posies!”

Personally, I like Lilies Florals in Risley Square on Jimmy Leeds Road. They have a Facebook page with tons of pictures of beautiful arrangements they've made. We've used them several times, and have always been very happy.
