View Finder: Galloway Construction Company Begins Demolition

Kline Construction began work that will pave the way for Hope Community Garden in Atlantic City.

Kline Construction, out of Galloway Township, began work on Wednesday that will pave the way for Hope Community Garden in Atlantic City.

Hope Community Garden is expected to be the first of six community gardens planted by AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, the hospital said in a statement announcing the project.

Kline Construction has begun demolition of a site at 912 Mediterranean Avenue, in Atlantic City.

The project is being funded by the AtlantiCare Healthy Garden Network, an AtlantiCare Foundation program.

“Through the Hope Community Garden, and others we are planning, we hope to improve nutrition practices and to enhance the well-being of individuals and our community as a whole,” Dee Kassis, RN, AtlantiCare Foundation chair said. “The gardens will also beautify open spaces and promote collaboration and empowerment among residents and community groups,”
