L'Oréal USA's SVP of Diversity & Inclusion Presents Keynote at "Dine for Diversity" Honoring South Central Jersey Diversity Champions


The American Conference on Diversity is pleased to present the “Dine for Diversity” luncheon on May 13 in Monroe Township, NJ. This exciting fundraising event, coordinated by our South Central Jersey Regional Community Network, will include an opportunity to network and learn from keynote speaker Angela Guy, L’Oreal USA’s SVP of Diversity and Inclusion, as well as pay tribute to our 2014 Diversity Award recipients!

Speaker Angela Guy, who sits on the American Conference on Diversity Board of Trustees, is responsible for shaping the diversity efforts for L’Oréal USA as a business imperative that highlights the value of all forms of beauty and well-being while respecting and reflecting the differences of our rapidly changing marketplace. Ms. Guy served as Senior Vice President, General Manager of SoftSheen-Carson, the #1 ethnic haircare brand in the world, and a Consumer Division of L’Oréal USA. Prior to joining L’Oréal USA, Ms. Guy worked for 19 years at Johnson & Johnson across three of its Consumer Products Divisions throughout the USA and Canada. Ms. Guy has been recognized as: Savoy Magazine’s “100 Most Influential Blacks in Corporate America” and “Top Influential Women in Corporate America”; a Black Enterprise “Power Player,” she was named one of Black Enterprise‘s “75 Most Powerful Women in Business”; one of “The 25 Influential Black Women in Business” by The Network Journal; and a Central Jersey Community Development Corporation and Chris Kjeldsen Community Service Award recipient.

“Dine for Diversity” is one of the ways the American Conference on Diversity raises funds to provide scholarships for students from Mercer, Monmouth, Northern Burlington, and Ocean Counties to attend our yearlong Lead for Diversity (LFD) program. Each year, the American Conference on Diversity LFD program impacts an estimated 20,000 NJ students.
