Galloway Library Closing Rescheduled to Oct. 5
It was previously scheduled for Oct. 3.
The planned power outage of the Atlantic County Library System's Galloway Branch has been rescheduled to Friday, Oct. 5 due to inclement weather, the county announced Tuesday evening, Oct. 2.
The outage was previously planned for , but because of heavy rain on Tuesday and projected inclement weather on Wednesday, the power outage was rescheduled, county officials said.
The power outage is planned in order to allow for work on electric lines that service the library and the municipal complex, county officials said.

During the outage, Galloway residents are welcome to visit any of the library system’s other branches in Brigantine, Egg Harbor City, Egg Harbor Township, Hammonton, Longport, Mays Landing, Pleasantville, Somers Point and Ventnor, as well as the Buena Community Reading Center at Buena Regional High School.
