UPDATE: Galloway Schools, Absegami Closed Due to Inclement Weather
Stockton's opening delayed.
The latest winter storm has resulted in the Galloway Township School system shutting down for the day.
According to the school system's website, all Galloway elementary, as well as the middle schools, will be closed Tuesday.
The Greater Egg Harbor Regional School District, which includes Absegami High School and Cedar Creek, are is also closed.

The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey will have a delayed opening, beginning classes at 10:30 a.m.
Galloway schools include Pomona Preschool, Arthur Rann Elementary School, Reed Road, Roland Rogers, Smithville and Galloway Township Middle School.

The storm began Monday night. According to the National Weather Service out of Mount Holly, 1.7 inches of snow has been dropped on Atlantic County, specifically Atlantic City. No specific numbers were available for Galloway Township at this time.
