Six Area Students Named to University of the Sciences' Fall Semester Dean's List

Other area students have also been honored.

Six students from the area have been named to the University of the Sciences’ Dean’s List for the fall semester by completing and passing all assigned courses with no grade below a "C" and attaining an academic average of at least 3.4, according to the Readmedia Newswire. The list includes:

Abby Couchoud of Absecon, is a doctor of pharmacy student;

Erika Hanson of Absecon, is a physician assistant studies student;

Alyssa Carmy of Galloway, is a master of occupational therapy student;

Dipal Patel of Galloway, is a doctor of pharmacy student; and

Ryan Taylor of Galloway, is a doctor of pharmacy student.

Other local students receiving honors include:

Danielle Melfi of Absecon, and Deyanira Sandoval of Galloway, were named to Fairleigh Dickinson University's Honor’s List for the fall semester by carrying a 3.5 or better GPA out of a possible 4.0 and be enrolled in a minimum of 12 letter-graded hours(four courses).

Kristina Kassis, of Absecon, earned term honors for the fall semester at Skidmore College. Term honors are awarded for a quality point ratio of 3.650 from a possible 4.0, for students who have completed 14 credit hours.

John Sommers of Galloway, was named to Greensboro College's Dean's List for the fall semester by completin at least six non-repeated course hours with a term grade-point average of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.
