Verizon Utility Work to Shut Down Part of Jimmie Leeds Road Tuesday Morning

The road work is part of the Sixth Avenue Traffic Light Installation Project.

Verizon will be digging test pits for depth of bank of lines as part of the Sixth Avenue Traffic Light Installation Project on Tuesday morning, Sept. 20, Galloway Township Manager Steve Bonanni said Monday afternoon.

As a result, the eastbound lane of Jimmie Leeds Road between Fourth Avenue and Pitney Road will be closed for utility work Tuesday morning, Atlantic County said on Monday.

The road will be closed beginning at approximately 8 a.m., and work should be finished by early afternoon, the county said.
