Incumbents Retain Seats in School Board Elections
Galloway Township voters fill five seats on the local and regional school boards.
Galloway Township voters went to the polls on Tuesday (Nov. 5) to choose members for the local and regional school boards.
In a contested race for Galloway Township seats on the nine-member Greater Egg Harbor Regional Board of Education, two incumbents defeated a third challenger. Vote totals were as follows:
- Vicki Hood: 3,4443
- Carol L. Houck: 2,755
- Douglas Shiner: 2,722
In uncontested races for seats on the nine-member Galloway Township Board of Education, three incumbents won re-election. Vote totals were as follows:
- Rosemary Hollway: 4,110
- Beverly Evensen: 3,773
- Suzette Cordero: 3,708
