American Conference on Diversity Southern Jersey Regional Community Network's 33rd Annual Martin Luther King, Jr., Brotherhood-Sisterhood Breakfast

“If the people of goodwill of America fail to act now, history will have
to record that the greatest of this period of social transition was not the
vitriolic words and the violent actions of the bad people, but the appalling
silence and indifference of the good people.”

--
Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

This thought-provoking quote by the late Dr. King will be the focus of a
lively discussion during the American Conference on Diversity Southern Jersey
Regional Community Network’s 33rd Annual Martin Luther King, Jr.,
Brotherhood-Sisterhood Breakfast. The buffet breakfast will be held
January 9 at The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey (Campus Center
Event Room) from 7:30 a.m. to 10 a.m.

As our nation
continues to move forward on our social-justice journey, the Brotherhood-Sisterhood
Breakfast is a time to stop and reflect on the past, present, and future. The morning
event will kick off with a forward-thinking keynote address by Anthony Bland,
NJ State Coordinator for the Office of School Preparedness and Emergency
Planning. Mr. Bland’s
presentation will set the stage for a moderated panel discussion with future
leaders and local student leaders, focusing on Dr. King’s messages and the
social-injustice challenges facing the next generation. This year’s confirmed middle-
and high-school
students will represent
the following public and private schools:

inspire, and amaze us with their insights, and we are greatly looking forward
