AtlantiCare Hospice to hold fifth annual Ribbons and Roses Ceremony

AtlantiCare Hospice invites the community to its fifth annual Ribbons and Roses ceremony Thursday, May 5 at 6 p.m. at the AtlantiCare Hospice Celebration of Life Walk, AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center Mainland Campus, Pomona. Members and volunteers of AtlantiCare Hospice will read the names of honorees and unveil personalized engraved bricks and/or porcelain tiles in their memory. The bricks and tiles are part of the Celebration of Life Walk, a brick-laden path designed to give the community, family and friends the opportunity to honor, remember and celebrate the lives of loved ones. The event, which is open to the public, will include music, readings and light refreshments. Donations made for Ribbons and Roses will benefit programs and services of AtlantiCare Hospice.

Through a team of physicians, nurses, social workers, clergy and volunteers, AtlantiCare Hospice works with patients and their families to provide palliative and hospice care to those facing life-threatening illnesses. The AtlantiCare Hospice team provides grief support to family and loved ones. AtlantiCare Hospice is part of AtlantiCare Health Services, part of the AtlantiCare network of services.
