High School Football is gearing up for 2013

Every year when summer starts, Gami football players are in full swing preparing for the upcoming season.  Last year the Braves played a schedule the put them up against some of the best teams in South Jersey.  This year they will rely on Temple bound RB David Hood and QB Mike Dolan on offense.  Chris Henchy and Ryan Ganard will help bolster the defense.  Wildcard player Maurice Hubbard will get an opportunity for the spotlight on both sides of the ball.  This is a hard working group of kids that will bring a blue collar work ethic to the field in September.
The 8th grade spring football team of Galloway will provide some talented freshman for Braves team.  Expect several sophomores to be role players for the Braves Varsity squad.  Sophomore standout John Searight is a leader in the making and could be on the field a lot this year.
The Galloway Renegades will start the year with new Head Coach Ray Marable and the Galloway Mustangs will make a run at the Atlantic County league under the direction of Mike Wazsen.  The two varsity youth programs will begin practice in August and start their seasons in September.  Their games are played on Saturday afternoons and evenings.  I will post all schedules when they become available.
