William Thomas Hand: 8/9/1931-3/6/2013
William T. Hand age 81 of Galloway passed away March 6, 2013 at home. He retired from the NJ Dept of Transportation. He served our country in the US Marine Corp during the Korean War and was honorably discharged as sergeant; he was a life member and past chief of the Bayview Vol. Fire Co. with 50 plus years, a Sergeant-at-Arms of the Atlantic County Firefighters Assoc. and District Warden of the NJ Forest Fire Service.

Mr. Hand was predeceased by his parents William and Margaret, brothers Benjamin, Donald, Philip and his sister Margaret; survived by his wife of 55 years Ruth; daughter Martha (Ed); sons Charles and Tom (Lisa); grandson Gary and brother Andrew (Freddy).
Visitation will be Sat, March 9th from 9 to 12 noon at Wimberg Funeral Home 211 E. Great Creek Rd, Galloway, NJ (609) 641-0001 with a service to begin at 12 noon.
