1. When/Where: Friday, May 4 at the Underground, 615 East Moss Mill Road, Smithville, 7 p.m.

Why go? Dr. Sketchy Anti-Art School brings its brand of alternative art to alternative store. hosts a night with Dr. Sketchy on Friday night, May 4 from 7-10 p.m. It's bring your own art supplies and BYOB. There's a $10 cover. If you don't drink and draw with us, the Darkside has won.

Why go? Simple Escape hosts this fabulous, fun night out event for the ladies. At this free event experience a skin assessment / facial mask, aromatherapy, massage, cooking demo with tastings and healthy snacks.

When/Where: Sunday, May 6 at the Galloway Elks Lodge #2845, 120 South New York Road, Galloway, 1 p.m.

Why go? On Sunday, May 6 from 1-5 pick up your BBQ Chicken Dinner. For $10 you will get 1/2 BBQ chicken, baked beans, macaroni Salad, roll & butter. Come early to make sure you get a dinner, take out orders or eat in. This does sell out fast.

Why go? Computer skills workshop course where students learn basic computer skills. Registration required.
