Absecon Police Asking for Help Identifying Theft Suspect

Absecon Police are looking for a man who allegedly stole a wallet from McDonald's.

Absecon Police are looking for a man who allegedly stole a women's wallet from the counter of McDonald's.

The theft happened on June 26 at the McDonald's on Route 30 in Absecon.

The woman forgot she left her wallet on the counter and left the location. When she returned a shirt time after, her wallet was gone.

Police reviewed surveillance footage and observed a black male wearing a gray tank top and dark shorts grab the wallet and leave the store.

The wallet contained money, credit cards and identification.
