Anthony Lacovara Honored as Stockton Police Officer of the Year

The Rutgers-Camden graduate has been with the department for six years.

Anthony Lacovara was honored as the Officer of the Year at the school's Board of Trustees meeting on Wednesday, July 11.

"He leads our community policing effort," Stockton Police Chief Glenn Miller said. "He handles the investigations on campus and he does field training for officers. He exhibits all the values that are close to our hearts."

Lacovara, originally from Washington Township, has been part of the department for six years. He's a graduate of Rutgers University in Camden.
