Atlantic City Traffic Advisory

June 29 brings the the Atlantic City Triathlon and possible traffic delays.

On Sunday, June 29, the Atlantic City Triathlon will pass through the Atlantic City Expressway and the areas surrounding the Atlantic City International Airport. The public is advised to leave extra time or Allow for extra time or use alternate routes.

On the Expressway, the westbound shoulder lane and the right travel lane will be closed from 6:00 am until 4:00 pm from Exit 2 (US 322) to Exit 4 (Pleasantville) and again at Exit 14 (Liepzig Avenue, Hamilton Township) through approximately milepost 28 (Hammonton). Exit 28 to SH 54 will remain open. Two lanes will remain open for travel at all times.

At the Airport, travelers should allow for extra time as bicyclists will be progressing through the intersection of Delilah and Tilton Roads (at the circle). Amelia Earhart Boulevard to the Airport will be closed at the circle and motorists will be directed to turn at the traffic light, through the NextGen site.
