The Coast Guard is joining with local and state enforcement agencies in responding to a grounded 56-foot fishing vessel that ran aground near The Pier Shops at Caesars in Atlantic City, according to the Coast Guard.
The fishing vessel Jessica Heather, ported out of Atlantic City, ran aground just after 11 p.m. Sunday night, according to the Coast Guard.

A local tow company is en route to the scene, and will attempt to refloat the Jessica Heather around 7 p.m., which is about the time high tide is expected.
If successful, the Jessica Heather will then be returned to its port.
Coast Guard Marine Environmental Response Personnel are already on the scene, working with state and local responders to mitigate any pollution issues, according to the Coast Guard. Currently, there are no pollution issues.
The beach remains open. The vessel has been contained to a safety zone, according to the Coast Guard.
