Extremely sad and tragic. That's now six fatalities on Galloway Township road's since the start of November. That and the number of serious car accidents in the past week alone have numbered five (that the public knows of). The answer to this is not just to have more cops out on the road but to ensure you are doing your part as well.

I am truly sorry for your loss. However, it was a tragic accident. The driver likely "just plowed right into him" as your uncle was stopped in the middle of the road. There are countless individuals who have lost relatives (including myself) to car accidents. Unfortunately, in most cases it turns out to just be a tragic accident. The police did what they always do immediately do after an accident, they check for signs of intoxication. In this case, it appears that there was not any signs of intoxication. You also need to recognize that the driver is suffering the same amount as your family is. I am sorry if I am being rough, but I am speaking the truth. My prayers go out to your family and your uncle.

@Joseph I live right near where it happened and can see the intersection from my house. I heard it when it happened but did not think anything of it until all the cops arrived. I do know that the street light on that intersection is out and at night it is really really dark in that location. I hope you find out some answers and get some closure. My prayers go out to you and your family.
