UPDATED: Four Injured in Two-Car Crash at Duerer Street and Mannheim Avenue in Galloway Township

A Cadillac and a van collided. Two adults and two children were involved in the accident.

Four people were injured following a two-car accident at Duerer Street and Mannheim Avenue Thursday evening, Dec. 6, Galloway Township Police on the scene said.

According to police, two adults and two children were injured in an accident in which a 2008 Cadillac CTS and a 2003 Chrysler Voyager collided.

Denice Flick, 35, of Galloway, and Stacy Hernandez, 23, of Galloway, were the injured drivers. They were extricated from their vehicles by Pomona and Egg Harbor City Fire Departments, police said.

On Friday afternoon, AtlantiCare officials said Hernandez was in fair condition, while Flick had been treated and released.

Hernandez was driving the Voyager. She had two small chidren in the car with her, police said. Hernandez was traveling east on Duerer Street, and Flick was traveling south on Mannheim. Flick's Cadillac struck Hernandez's van, police said. There is a stop sign on Mannheim Avenue.

All four injured were transported to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center City Campus Trauma Center by Galloway Township and Hamilton Township ambulance squads.

Summonses are pending, police said.

Firefighters from Pomona and Germania, Absecon Ambulance Squad and AtlantiCare medics  were also on the scene.

The road was closed for one hour as police cleared the scene.
