Galloway Bicyclist Hit By Car in Pomona on Sunday Released From Hospital

Harley Pollack suffered an elbow injury in the collision near Aloe Street.

A Galloway man who was hit by a car while riding his bike near Aloe Street on Sunday, Feb. 24, was released from the hospital on Tuesday, Feb. 26, according to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center.

Harley Pollack, 19, suffered an elbow injury after being struck by a 2003 Toyota SUV being driven by Hiwot Tibedu, also of Galloway, according to Galloway Township Police.

Tibedu was traveling north on Pomona Road when he veered to the right and struck Pollack, police said. Pollack was transported to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center Mainland Campus with an elbow injury, police said. No other injuries were reported, according to police.

Police said summonses may be issued pending further investigation.
