Galloway Man Busted With Nearly 5,000 Bags of Heroin, Stolen Gun

Detectives also seized nearly $25,000 from Keegan V. Thomson's East Ocean Avenue home.

A Galloway Township man has been charged with possession with intent to distribute 4,987 bags of heroin valued at about $20,000, Galloway Police announced on Monday.

Keegan V. Thomson, 29, was also found in possession of a .9mm handgun stolen out of Fayetville, North Carolina. Galloway detectives seized $24,652 in cash from drug proceeds at his home following a month-long investigation that ended with the Atlantic County ERT Team executing a search warrant on his East Ocean Avenue home.

Galloway patrol officers were also involved in the operation.

Thomson was charged with second degree possession with the intent to distribute heroin, possession of a firearm for an unlawful purpose, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, committing a drug offense while in possession of a firearm and possession of a stolen firearm.

He was released pending his appearance in court after posting $100,000 full cash bail.

It is extremely clear that Galloway township is the Heroin production center for Southern Ocean County (at the least). it should not take the police this long to investigate when residents have continually called in to complain about these residences. Happy to see that they got him before he ran off.

I couldn't agree any more. That is why they likely missed this shooting in Club III last night. They were too busy having three cops pull over one person for a seat belt violation in the area. Where are all of the GTPD supporters now?
