UPDATED: Galloway Man in Fair Condition Following One-Car Accident

Ian Mulhern struck a tree early Monday morning.

A Galloway Township man was transported to the hospital after striking a tree with his car in the early mornig hours Monday, Oct. 22 Galloway Police said.

Ian Mulhern, 22, of Galloway Township, had to be extricated from his 1994 Honda Accord after he left the road and struck a tree at West Jimmie Leeds Road and South Willow Avenue at 4:45 a.m. Monday, police said.

He was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center City Division by Galloway Ambulance Squad for leg injuries after being extricated by volunteers from the Pomona and Bayview fire companies, police said. The road was closed for an hour, according to police.

Mulhern is in fair condition, AtlantiCare representatives said later Monday morning.

The accident is still under investigation.
